New Unique Health Application a must-have for everyone It calculates your blood pressure in two steps with appx. ±5% error margin

This is a unique android app, which can measure your blood pressure both Systolic and Diastolic pressure and pulse rate.

If you are Hypertensive (persons with high blood pressure) and don’t have the time to visit your doctor. You can install this Android app to check blood pressure and pulse rate.

Here is one app called Perf. Blood pressure (BP) monitor, appears to be close to accurate. I have been using this app for quite some time now. Every time I check my BP with this app on my Android smartphone, I recheck it with my BP instrument (Sphygmomanometer). I found the results almost accurate, plus / minus 5 to 10.

It’s not accurate but does give you an idea or signal to visit your family doctor for further advice.

How To Check Blood Pressure And Pulse Rate on Smartphone

1: Download and install the app from the above link (Perf.Blood pressure monitor)

2: After installation, launch the app

In Step 1, it will ask you to select gender, Male or female.

After selecting your gender, tap to go to Step 2.

Step 2 is important in how to use this app.

3: The app shows a fingerprint on the screen. Place one finger over it on your phone’s screen. The moment you place your finger on the screen, your cameras flashlight switches on.

4: Now place the other finger over the phone’s camera lens on the back.

Do not press your fingers too hard over the screen or the camera lens. This might block the blood flow on the capillaries and give a wrong reading.

Do not remove either one of the fingers, or your BP and pulse rate will not be measured / calculated.

5: Once you place your fingers, the app starts. You will hear beep sounds and a progressing bar in a circle.

Once the circle is complete, remove your fingers. Your pulse rate (per minute), and blood pressure (both systolic and diastolic) will be displayed on the screen.

NOTE: If your Android smartphone do not have a flashlight or the flash is not near the camera lens. For best results use this app to check blood pressure and pulse rate in a well-lit conditions.

Conclusion: I am not saying that this App is a substitute to check your BP and pulse. But good and accurate enough to alert you, that you need immediate medical attention.

This Android app to check blood pressure and pulse rate, is definitely worth trying. There is another android app Acc.Blood pressure (BP) Monitor, that you can try. But I found it to be less accurate.
